Currently there is only BMP and TIF and both create images with large files sizes.

For non-printing purposes JPGs would be the way to go.

Hi,

After giving it some thoughts, there is a way to do so using the API - ISnapShot2 have a “Format” property on it that allows for JPEG compression on the snapshots:

From the Programmer’s Guide:

Format

[in, out] BSTR – A string defining the format and compression of the image file. Use ”BMP” for a windows bitmap file, or  “JPeg75" for a 75% JPEG image.

Best regards,

Yaniv
