I think someone else mentioned this in the General Support section, just figured to add this here as well.

It would be nice if the Terra Explorer, and Terra Explorer Pro, had a setting that would keep all cached content unless the user empties the cache.

I think this makes a lot of sense if DirectConnect is used.  Clients keep their cached data, and during the next session TE checks to see whether the content the user is looking at is cached already, and if so, then doesn't actually download content from the TG server unless an area that is not cached comes into view.

This does present the problem that the content on the TG server may have changed since the TE client looked at it the last time, thus all cached files may be outdated.

Perhaps some sort of time stamp could be added to projects that use DirectConnect.  The time stamp would be updated every time the TBP file changes. That way the TE client can request the time stamp from TG, and decide whether to display cached data, or purge cached data to obtain more current data.
