Who can help me to start a manual flight?

When I start TerraExplorer at a location, some
automatic acrobatic fly-around starts and never
stops. I used to be able to stop this and begin
my own manual flight, but now (after some months)
I don't seem to find any button or menu choice to
stop the automatic acrobatic thing. I have version
4.6.1.

You can stop a predefined flight using the space bar, or the stop button that becomes visible when you expand the flight panel.

To use the space bar just click into the 3D window with your mouse, and then hit the space bar.

I tried all that, but it won't work, the
automatic acrobatics simply continue as
soon as I let go of the space bar or
buttons. Also the menu "stop" haas no
effect. But as I said, it used to wotk
some time ago. I guess something is wrong.
So the question is in fact, how do I solve
this error ?

Could it be that you have a joystickor other game controler connected to your computer. If so please disconnect and restart TerraExplorer.

Let us know how it goes ...

YES, now the problem is solved! Thanks very much!

First I disconnected the joystick and restarted
the PC. That did'nt help yet.
Then I ALSO disconnected my (new) flight pedals
ruther and started up the PC again. This helpt!

I can now fly with TerraExplorer just as before.
I guess that when I want use my joystick/ruther
again later on, I'll have to start up the PC again
after connecting them.

Again: thank yoy very much for your help.

..... and I suggest you put this matter in your FAQs,
because I'm sure especially people interested in
TerraExplorer have joysticks/ruthers etc. and would
probably give up trying out your demos soon if they
don't know about this instruction.
