im now trying to build up a 3D digital city..and i downloaded some building models in Google Warehouse . they are .skp files. so i tried to transform them into .x file by Deep Exploration .After these steps i opened my scene in TEpro and tried to put those .x flie models into my virtual city..but some of the models turned out to be transparent..situations are that sometimes the models are well transformed and performs well in TEpro..while some models are transparent ..the textures are gone and i can see through that building !! more weird is that in some models one side of the walls is just fine while another wall is transparent!!   i dont know why, that really confused me a lot..i hope someone here could help me out...
thanks so much .

Hi Kathy,
When creating a 3D model, you need to determine a vector for each wall (polygon) which describes the "face" of the wall, in other words, if the wall is facing inside or outside. The models you've downloaded were probably created by unexperienced creator. in order to solve this issue try doing the following:
1. From TerraExplorer Project Settings > General > select Double Side Rendering for 3D.
2. Using DeepExploration, right click on the model > Tools > Convert to Double Side.
3. There might be a parallel option in SketchUp.

By the way, Using SketchUp, you can open the skp files and save the model as DAE format, which is also supported by TerraExplorer.

Best regards,
yaniv
