A bug was identified starting with TerraExplorer 7.0.1 build 2437 where the user cannot import a license through the License Manager. No error messages will be shown to indicate any issues with permissions or file path access, just the standard License Manager warning that no valid licenses were found in the TerraExplorer folder.

This issue persisted through several builds under TerraExplorer 7.0.1, and was corrected starting in TerraExplorer 7.1.

Two workarounds exist to resolve this problem:

1) Place the SLTerraExplorerPro.lic next to the setup.exe prior to installing TerraExplorer. During the installation process, the license will be identified and copied to the proper destination path.

2) Copy the SLTerraExplorerPro.lic file to the path where TerraExplorer was installed. By default this path is C:\Program Files\Skyline\TerraExplorer Pro\. This requires administrator privileges, but will resolve the problem for cases where TerraExplorer was installed without a Pro license, or if the license needs to be updated due to expiration or addition of licensed features.
