    Posted: December 22 2010 at 9:25am

When I access some SFS layer(pre-cache) using TerraExplorer pro,
some points of the layer didn't displayed on 3D map unless I change the block size of the layers.

This problem have occurred several times.
And the disappeared points are always located in edge areas of the layer(eg. the most northern 2 points).

In another situation,
When my SFS layer only have very few points, I can't see any data on 3d map...(the Data Source is connecting with DB server, and only have 3 points when i publish it on SFS).
If I insert into a lot of data, then delete those data, and only keep  the original 3 points in the layer...,I can see the 3 points on 3D map(didn't change any settings)...Shocked

PS.SFS and SFS cache-creator version : v4.5.0.14

I have asked our partners to help us test this issue(same data, same block size, same SFS version),but they did not encounter such problems(all data can show on 3D map).Confused

Could you please tell me how to deal with these problems??

Hi LYF,

Indeed this is a bug which will be fixed in the next version.
CacheCreator rounds the layer Bounding Box to 5 digits instead of 6.

As a workaround, when creating the cache in CC, manually add the 6th digit. Alternatively, if you already created the pre-cache, edit the .layer file and enlarge the bounding box, under <LatLongBoundingBoxOriginal>.

Best regards,
yaniv

I've tried this method and successfully solve the problem.
Thanks for your help Smile
I am looking forward to the next version release
