Hi hvvdl,

You can use the API method: SGWorld65.ProjectTree.SelectItem(String ItemID) for this prpose and to select a single object. you can use the same method to select a group.
The question here is what you are trying to achieve? whtaever it is, you can always store the item's IDs into an array and manipulate them later on.

Hi S4M,

there you go:

1. Get the object ID by the following sample code:
string itemID = SGWorld.ProjectTree.FindItem("GroupName\Object");

2. Getting the object by passing the ItemID as a parameter to the following method, including casting if required:
ITerrainPolygon66 pol = (ITerrainPolygon66)globe.ProjectTree.GetObject(itemID);

Hope this sample helps.
