I've built a custom application using the TE Pro v6.0 ActiveX control and C# (.Net v3.5). As part of this, I've created my own property sheet and I wanted to emulate the edit vertices and move buttons. I tried to accomplish this via the ProjectTree.EditItem() call.
However, although the 2D object highlights appropriately (as it does in TE Pro when editing), it does not enable vertices edit and when I attempt to move the object (the mouse switches to the standard "move" cursor) and begin dragging, the application crashes hard with a System.AccessViolationException. Exception is: at System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.ThemingScope.DeactivateActCtx(Int32 dwFlags, IntPtr lpCookie) at System.Windows.Forms.UnsafeNativeMethods.ThemingScope.Deactivate(IntPtr userCookie) at System.Windows.Forms.Application.ThreadContext.RunMessageLoop(Int32 reason, ApplicationContext context) at System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run(Form mainForm) Is there a bug in the TE Pro ActiveX control? Is it even possible to tap into the built-in functionality in the modal property sheet buttons (for move-xy, move-z, and edit vertices), or do I need to recreate it from scratch? Any thoughts? Thanks, Raj |
