Null Value Poly + Histogram Adjustment ->DCFail

Hi there,  
I found that in TB v6, if I change an MPT v3 source by adding a Null Val Polygon or a histogram adjustment to a source in a TBP, then click Publish, when I open the Direct Connect Project for this TBP, I get a "Cannot open terrain database; file may be corrupted" error.

I have a project with a lot of MPTv3 sources -- like in the thousands -- so I can't just add a clip poly to each source (would take forever) but I still need to get rid of some black seams in the data sources.  What can I do?

Also, if I try clicking Publish with MPT Layers, the changes I made to the sources -- the histogram adjustment or the null value polygons -- aren't written permanently to the MPT.

Please give me a hand if you can, because I have a big client that would like to see this project live very soon!
