Displaying a message without navigation

   I have created an "Identify" tool in my web application and I have a question about displaying a message attached to an image marker that the tool places at the clicked point.

I know that you can get the message to display if you use one of the navigation methods (flyTo, jumpTo) or just click on the image marker, but I don't want the environment to move or require the user to click a second time.  I would just like to display the message.

If I could somehow trigger the click event for the image marker this would solve the problem.

Any ideas?
